Oh that verse in Romans

Romans 12:2

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." (NKJV).

Why is it that people claim to be Christians but you can't distinguish between them and the world? I'll tell you why, it's because so many people who claim to be Christians are conforming, the NLT Bible actually translates it as copying the patterns of the the world.

I must tell you what, IT SHOULDN'T BE THIS WAY. We get all these artists who get up there for the Grammy's "I want to thank my parents, my fans, and oh, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" You're what?! Sure they want to claim the Cross on stage when the whole Christian community watches, but in their songs when they use Jesus name it's not as their Savior. If the Christian community would stop supporting that filth then several of those artists would be going out of business. And seeing how 50 Cent's songs arn't worth his name we need to be putting some of them out of business. We got no business listening to them(Yes that includes, but is not limited to: Metallica, Green Day, Eminem, etc...),we got no business watching South Park, we got no business looking at porn on the internet, we got no business talking the way the world does, we got no business smoking what they smoke and drinking the way they drink, we got no business sleeping with people out of marriage like they do, we got no business acting homosexual. The list goes on and on. The problem is Christian teens today are not seperating from the world. God has called us to be holy, which means set apart for a special purpose. You can't be for a special purpose if you're not set apart at all.

Where is the Church today? Where are our Timothys, Elijahs, Isaiahs, Moses', Noahs, Davids, Gideons, Pauls, Peters, James'? Come on Church, the apostolic Church was radical, we are talking militant(not as in violent militant), they were so umcompromising in their preaching that we are told they turned the world upside down! If God could do it then He can do it now. Now is the time for the true blood-bought saints of the Living God to boldly "be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might" (Ephesians 6:10, KJV).

Oh but no one will listen! You say, I would argue if you want people to listen you gotta put on a show. No body's listening now because we aren't saying anything! If we did they would listen. If this country's 35% of registered voters who are Christians would stop supporting the big, corrupt industries that are working to get rich from our moral decay then they would begin going out of business.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]" (Ephesians 6:12, KJV). So what are we doing! We are the body of Christ, so why are the arms sitting motionless? Why aren't the legs walking? Why isn't the mouth speaking? We really need to pray for some backbone in this generation and a revival that will spread across this land! Now is not the time to back down and say "oh look its the end times, time to quit" NO! It is the end times, lets save as many as we can! Lets proclaim the Gospel in such a way that we turn this world upside down. It's true that Satan is going about like a roaring lion, but he's only roaring because he has no teeth! First John 4:4 tells us "greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." (KJV). It's time to play Gideon and shout "The sword of the LORD, and of Gideon." (Judges 7:20, KJV). Now is the time to stand stronger, more determined, more confident, more committed to The Cross then ever before! Satan is fighting a losing battle, Jesus said "upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" (Matthew 16: 18). Peter wasn't the rock Jesus was talking about, Jesus is the rock Jesus is talking about!

So let us stand like we've never stood before, let us fight for souls like we've never fought before, let us pray like we've never prayed before, let us be holy like we've never been holy before!
